Hometown: Tuscaloosa, AlabamaIn high school, Sarah Morgan was involved in SGA, National Honor Society, Key Club, Spanish Honor Society, and her school Ambassadors. She served as President of Spanish Club and participated in choir, ensemble, drama, International Thespian Society, and her high school swim team. She also was very involved with her church, serving on multiple leadership, missions, and worship teams. At Samford, she has been able to continue leaderships and involvement by joining International Justice Mission, Freshman Representative Council, the worship band with RUF, and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. She has been named for the Dean’s List and received the Wheeler award for GPA. She also served as a missions intern and the youth girls’ intern at First Baptist Birmingham. She is blessed to be interning at M-Power Ministries, which allows her to use her double major in English and Secondary Education in developing relationships with adult students in literacy and GED programs as well as teaching classes and growing as a learner. She is excited to continue learning and growing through the Micah Fellows in order to better serve and love the Birmingham community.
