Hometown: Tuscaloosa, AlabamaBefore coming to Samford, Sarah Morgan was involved in SGA, National Honor Society, Key Club, Spanish Honor Society, and her school Ambassadors. She served as President of Spanish Club and participated in choir, ensemble, drama, International Thespian Society, and her high school swim team. She also was very involved with her church, serving on multiple leadership, missions, and worship teams. At Samford, she has been able to continue leaderships and involvement as through International Justice Mission, Freshman Representative Council, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and the RUF worship team. She is very involved with her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, and serves as Vice President of DREAM, which stands for Disability Rights, Education, Activism, and Mentoring. She has been named for the Dean’s List and received the Wheeler award for GPA. She also served as a missions intern and the youth girls’ intern at First Baptist Birmingham. She is blessed to be interning at M-Power Ministries, which allows her to use her double major in English and Secondary Education in developing relationships with adult students in literacy and GED programs as well as teaching classes and growing as a learner. She is excited to continue learning and growing through the Micah Fellows in order to better serve and love the Birmingham community.
