Hometown: Mobile, AlabamaPrior to coming to Samford, Emily was a National Honor Society member, a member of Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society, cheerleading captain, photographer for the Service Club, and a leader for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Apart from school she was a group leader for SPL, a nonprofit that empowers women and educates the community on the effects of abortion, as well as a delegate for the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. While attending Samford, Emily plans to study Biology on the pre-med track. After graduation, Emily aspires to become a medical doctor as well as operate a non-profit organization that offers medical care to families in low-income or underdeveloped areas.
