Christa is currently serving at Grace House Ministries as an intern in their campus school. She serves the Samford community as the Director of the Multicultural Affairs Committee, in which she offers diversity peer education to all SGA Organizations and makes recommendations to the Student Executive Board in efforts to promote diversity and inclusion on campus. She is also a two time recipient of the Samford Wheeler Medal and the Ralph W. Beeson Academic Scholarship Award. In addition, Christa is a Human Development and Family Education Undergraduate Academic Assistant and she is a published writer in the National Council on Family Relations’ quarterly publication. After graduation, Christa hopes to contribute to rebuilding and sustaining healthy and empathetic community among underrepresented and disenfranchised groups.
