Prior to attending Samford, Julianne was a Student Ambassador, National Art Honor Society President, Student Spiritual Formation Team Leader, and valedictorian of her high school, Madison Academy. She also served as a captain for her cross country and track teams, volunteered on mission trips with her church, and advocated for deaf and hard of hearing children in Alabama. At Samford, Julianne is majoring in Sports Medicine and minoring in Biology, with aspirations of being a future physician in hopes of serving and ministering to underserved populations. For her service, Julianne is currently serving at WISE, the Woolley Institute for Spoken Language Education, a nonprofit that helps deaf and hard of hearing children learn to listen, speak, read, and integrate successfully into hearing society. In addition to being the director of WISE Ambassadors at her service placement, Julianne has been involved on campus in Alpha Delta Pi, SGA, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, Alpha Epilson Delta Honor Society, Step Sing, and more.
