The University Fellows application includes the following components:
- Application Form
- Comprehensive Résumé
- 5 page, double-spaced writing sample
- Academic Recommendation Form from a Teacher
You do not need to wait until you receive admission notification from Samford University before beginning your University Fellows application. When you access the University Fellows application for the first time, it will prompt you to register. Your log-in information will allow you to save the application without submitting it.
After you have submitted your University Fellows application, your recommender will receive an email with a link to our academic recommendation form. Please have your teacher contact Bryan Johnson at email@example.com or (205) 726-4036 if they have any problems or questions about the recommendation process. Because your recommender will not receive access to the recommender form until you have completed your portion of the application, try to complete your application by November 15, 2020. This should give your recommender time to thoughtfully complete the form.
The University Fellows application opens on August 15. Completed applications are due on December 1. Applicants will be notified in early January whether they have been selected for an on-campus interview. Interviews will take place in late January.
