Meagan was recently accepted into Samford’s Brock Scholars program, where she is studying a combination of business, music and worship leadership. After graduation, Meagan hopes to enter the music industry on either the artistic or business front. With the support of the Brock Scholars program, she is currently interning in the business office at the Historic Alabama and Lyric Theatres in downtown Birmingham with Birmingham Landmarks, Inc. On campus, she serves as a weekly worship leader on the Campus Worship Team. She recently traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan with Samford Music & Worship to the Calvin Institute of Worship’s Symposium on Worship to further develop her worship leadership abilities. This summer she will be interning at Pinelake Church in Oxford, Mississippi, and last summer she served in Oxford as a Legal Assistant at Farese, Farese & Farese, P.A. Meagan is also an active member in Phi Mu Alpha Gamma Sorority. During her first year at Samford, Meagan joined both the Freshmen and University Fellows recruitment councils. A leader throughout high school, Meagan served as the president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Pilot International Anchor Club, while captaining the “Reject All Tobacco” Campaign and serving on the Mayor's Youth Council and Student Council. A member both of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, Meagan excelled in academics, earning numerous distinctions, awards, and scholarships. Holding paid positions in law and governmental offices, Meagan also volunteered in her community through organizations such as the Junior Auxiliary Crown Club and the Humane Society.
