While attending Samford, Mikiah has been an active member of the Black Student Union and the League of Women Voters. She has also been involved in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She has studied history throughout her time at Samford and hopes to use that degree to attend law school. From, there she hopes to become a civil rights attorney.
