Before joining Samford, Shaun was raised in Pelham, AL where he graduated from Pelham High School. There he was the leader of the First Priority campus evangelism club, President-elect of Spanish National Honor Society, Vice President of Book club, Treasurer of Peer Helpers club, and he was a member of English, Science, and Mu Alpha Theta national honor societies. He played school-soccer all four years and ran cross country his senior year. At Pelham he aspired to be a light for Christ. Now at Samford, he plans to be involved in Spiritual Life programs, join Spanish Club, and make an impact through Freshman Forum and other service organizations. His hobbies include running, playing soccer, cooking, and reading. Academically he is pursuing a career as a Family Counselor with Spanish fluency to serve people locally and internationally.
