Samford University’s 2025 Homecoming Weekend is set to take place Nov. 7-8, featuring two event-filled days promising memorable fellowship opportunities for alumni.

“On behalf of the Samford University Alumni Association, we look forward to alumni and friends joining us back on campus for homecoming,” said Casey Ramey, executive director of alumni engagement initiatives. “The friendships that alumni make truly last a lifetime, and homecoming is a wonderful time to gather back on campus and enjoy time at their alma mater.”

The weekend will feature the Samford Homecoming Quad Party, tailgates, games, and reunions for the classes of 1975, 2000 and 2015. The Bulldogs will take on ETSU Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Pete Hanna Stadium. Registration for the respective reunions can be found here:

This year, the Golden Bulldog event for the class of 1975 will consist of a brunch to allow guests more time on the Quad before the football game.

Saturday’s tailgates on the Quad will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Alumni Association tailgates will take place on the west side of the Quad, behind Hodges Chapel. All alumni and friends are encouraged to visit.

The Bulldog Walk will take place at 12:30 p.m., starting at the south entrance of the Ralph W. Beeson University Center and ending at Sullivan-Cooney Fieldhouse.

In addition to Alumni Association festivities, there will also be an array of events hosted by departments across campus on Saturday, including Beeson Divinity School’s annual worship service in Hodges Chapel. The entire Homecoming schedule will be available on the Homecoming webpage later this month.
