International honor society, Beta Alpha Psi, has once again recognized Samford’s Kappa Pi chapter as a Superior Chapter for the 2019-20 academic year. Superior status, the top level of achievement for university chapters, has been awarded to the Kappa Pi chapter for more than a decade.

Cumberland School of Law has once again been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top law schools in the country for trial advocacy training. The 2021 rankings released March 17 list Cumberland’s program as 7th in the nation out of 188 law schools listed.

Students who sat for the CPA exam in 2018 from Samford University’s accounting program once again ranked number one in the state of Alabama among first-time test takers holding a bachelor’s degree. This achievement has placed Samford’s program in the top nine percent of all accounting programs in the country.
