Samford Parent Leadership Council (PLC) members are a great resource for Samford undergraduate parents. Connect with the PLC members from your area. They look forward to connecting with you!

The PLC is the core working group of the Parents Association. The council is comprised of parents representing all undergraduate classes and diverse geographical areas. Members are invited to serve for one year, renewable annually. The council meets once each semester with university administrators and staff to hear reports and make and implement plans.

Each PLC member serves on a committee or work group, focused on supporting the university’s mission. PLC members represent the university during the year at special events as well as lead in a variety of ways to positively impact Samford. In addition to these responsibilities, PLC members are asked to attend fall and spring meetings, encourage relationships among Samford parents and between parents and the university, help recruit prospective Samford students, make an annual financial gift to Samford, and volunteer for on-campus and regional university events.
