In collaboration with technology services and university advancement, web services supports email communication sent through the university's enterprise email marketing tool. Technology services provides data, while university advancement assists with data management, administrates the system and provides training in partnership with marketing and communication.

While we make every effort to accept and complete projects as quickly and efficiently as possible, quality design takes time and schedules vary depending on the scope of the project and our current work load. Reserve your place in the production schedule as early as possible. If you are part of an academic unit, please consult the marketing and communication colleague in your school.
Samford's brand is a valuable asset that requires protection. In cooperation with our licensing partner, we ensure that Samford's trademark rights are enforced to clearly distinguish Samford from other organizations and avoid dilution of our brand or reputation in the market. We also maintain a list of licensed vendors to assist university colleagues in obtaining high-quality products that properly reflect the university's standing in higher education and our community.
Our staff of award-winning media professionals, represents the university to external media. We can assist in developing news and feature releases on behalf of departments and program areas that highlight events, academic achievements and other important news. We also maintain a list of campus experts who have expressed willingness to respond to specific media inquiries.
We provide photography services to promote the university and enhance the Samford brand. In addition to providing employee headshots and managing photo shoots, we also manage the university's enterprise photo library.
Social media provides us with unprecedented the opportunity to reach and engage large audiences.
While this makes social media a great option for marketing and for sharing news and information, it also increases the weight of the responsibility we have around what we post, how we engage and with whom we engage. We provide social media guidelines, consultation and internship opportunities and promote our primary social media accounts.

We consider the potential viewership, cost and time of any given project. While we make an effort to accommodate as many requests as possible, projects are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we receive your completed form, we will communicate within 72 hours to let you know if your project has been accepted.
We not provide equipment for showing productions. Equipment requests should be made to the Technology in Learning Center.
