When the Plan Changes: Helping Your Student Choose (or Change) a Major
Many college students arrive on campus with a clear idea of what they want to study and how they’ll use their degree once they cross the graduation stage a few years later. But whether it happens in the first month, the first semester, or sometime later in their academic journey, every student eventually gets “punched in the mouth” by the reality of figuring out whether their original plan is truly the right one.

From Parents for Parents: Family Weekend Concert
My husband and I prayed that our daughter’s college search would lead her to a place that felt like home and offered strong opportunities in the School of the Arts. After several exceptional tours, we visited Samford on a cloudless, summer day and immediately felt the community. The warmth of the campus and the people – from staff, to faculty, to students –created an indescribable bond. Our prayers for a university family were answered, and the three of us gained more than expected.
