Fitness Classes

Classes are open to anyone and meet in Seibert Gym. If you need directions come to the Campus Rec office. All classes are free and spots will be limited so please come early. Once the room is filled, the door will be closed. The full class schedule is listed below.

Classes are held Monday, Wednesday from 4-5pm in Room 409

Not your typical workout, Pound combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with drumming. Pound uses weighted drumsticks (called Ripstix) to create a full-body toning experience that you’ll love. Each class fuses Pilates, isometric movements, and pylometrics to sculpt muscle and torch up to 900 calories per hour. If you’re not exactly musically inclined, don’t worry- the routines are simple to follow and set to calibrated songs so you can get the rhythm down easily.

Core/Body Fitness is an allover body toning/strengthening/flexibility/ balance class that incorporates many different training techniques and equipment to get you in great shape. A typical class uses light to medium weights, resistance bands, stability balls, barre balls, cardio drills and a mat but no two classes are exactly alike. We keep the playlist and the material fresh and fun. The class variety combined with high-energy music ensures you will never be bored with your workout. So much more than just an abs class – Core/Body Fitness will help you become stronger, leaner and more defined.

This program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one of a kind fitness program that will blow you away. The goal is simple: we want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. This is an absolute blast of one hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!


Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7pm in room 409

PiYo is a high intensity, fast paced, low impact workout that is a fusion of yoga and Pilates. This 1 hour program incorporates core and single leg strength and flexibility using lower body exercises, yoga, and Pilates postures.  You will sweat. You will feel a workout. Appropriate for all fitness levels, no yoga or Pilates experience needed. 

Core De Force

Classes are held Monday from 6-7pm in room 409

MMA style workout tracking moves and inspiration from boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai that uses HIIT intervals. It is bodyweight training that is not a self defense class and non-contact. 

Cardio Attack

Classes are held on Sunday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in room 106 (starts February 25th)

Cardio Attack is a high-energy sports-inspired class. Athletic aerobic movements combined with strength and stabilization will take you through this challenging but FUN class! You will reach two cardio peaks and burn hundreds of calories in just 55 minutes!
