Women’s Ultimate Club

Catch the disc in the end zone to score and win! This newly popular game is a fun, athletic, strategic sport to be involved in. Work as a team, compete as a team, have fun as a team, and enjoy the action of ultimate frisbee together! Refereed by players, honesty, and integrity are encouraged. Women's Ultimate Club welcomes those new to the sport as well as those on the verge of joining professional ultimate.

Our goal is to provide a high level of play and competition for our players and an opportunity for the entire Samford student body to enjoy.

Bass Fishing Club

We are a club that welcomes all people who are interested in fishing, whether it be recreational, or competitively. We mainly focus on bass fishing, and plan to compete in college tournaments such as the Fishlife Collegiate Tour, FLW College Fishing, College BASS, and ACA Collegiate fishing. We also work towards conservation, education, and promotion of the sport among youth, and supporting Samford on a national level through competitions.

Ultimate Frisbee, often called Ultimate, is a non-contact sport that combines elements of soccer, basketball, and football. Competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of mutual respect and sportsmanship (“The Spirit of the Game”).

Women’s Lacrosse Club

Lacrosse is one of the most rapidly growing sports among college students. It has been characterized as the “fastest game on two feet.” The Samford Lacrosse Club supports this game and introduces new players to this fast and exciting sport.

Crew is more than just a sport — it’s a culture. As the oldest collegiate sport in the United States and one of the oldest sports in the world, it has developed a reputation and tradition. Now, students at Samford can share this historic passion and are bringing the tradition to Samford.

Samford Golf Club

The Samford Golf Club provides an affordable and fun way to play golf. We hold practices on a weekly basis. Our members range from beginners to golfers who held D1 offers. We currently compete in the National Collegiate Club Golf Association. Whether you decide to play alongside us in tournaments or just practice with us, the Samford Golf Club provides you the opportunity to pursue golf away from home.
