SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Samford softball team continued Southern Conference Tournament play as they faced Mercer this afternoon in an elimination game. The loser would head home while the winner would head to the championship against Chattanooga. The Bulldogs fell behind early and could never get back level with the Bears as they added more runs late and Samford fell 13-5. The Dogs end their season with a 33-23 record.

Bulldogs Move to 2-0 at SoCon Tournament After Win Over UNCG
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Samford softball team returned to action for day two of the Southern Conference Tournament today as they matched up with the two seed UNCG. The Bulldogs fell behind early but came back for the second-straight game as they won 5-4. The Bulldogs move their record to 33-21 on the season after the win.
